IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions (Jan-Apr 2025)
雅思口試 本季最新Part 1題目 (2025年1月至4月)
Bộ đề dự đoán IELTS Speaking Quý 1 (T1 – 04/2025)
30. Dreams
1. What was your dream when you were a child?
→ Thinking back on my childhood, I always dreamed of being a famous singer. I used to sing in front of the mirror, imagining myself performing on big stages in front of thousands of fans. I even participated in school talent shows. That dream, though it didn’t work out, taught me a lot about confidence and self-expression.
→ When I think back to my childhood dreams, I vividly remember wanting to be an astronaut. The idea of exploring space and discovering new planets fascinated me so much that I often spent hours reading books about the universe.
2. Are you the kind of person who sticks to dreams?
→ When it comes to pursuing dreams, I’d say I’m somewhat dedicated. I’ve always tried to stay focused on my goals, even if I had to adjust them along the way. For instance, while I initially wanted to be an astronaut, I shifted my focus to a career in science to be more realistic.
→ Not really. I find it hard to hold onto my dreams for long, I easily lose interest and switch my focus to other things. When things get tough, I’m not the type to fight for them. It’s easier for me to let go and try something new.

3. Do you remember your dreams when you wake up?
→ I usually forget them right after I wake up, they just slip away too fast! However, sometimes I do recall some vivid scenes, especially if they were particularly strange or emotional. I’ve had dreams that felt so real that they linger in my mind throughout the day!
→ Yes, I can sometimes recall some details from my dreams, especially when it’s a terrible nightmare, but then there are other times when they just vanish as soon as I open my eyes, which is kind of frustrating because I’d like to remember them!
4. Do you think dreams will affect life?
→ Well, I think dreams can have a lasting impact on our lives sometimes. They can provide insights into our subconscious and reflects our inner desires and fears, unconsciously influence our choices and relationships.
→ Not really; I don’t think they are that important. They often feel random and seem more like fleeting thoughts than anything meaningful, so I don’t pay much attention to them.
5. Do you think dreams have special meanings?
→ Honestly, I don’t think there’s anything important about dreams. They seem too chaotic and disconnected from reality to hold any real meaning for me.
→ Definitely! I’ve always thought that some dreams can be prophetic. You know, I’ve heard stories about dreams actually coming true. It’s like they give us little glimpses into the future or reveal truths we might not even realize!
→ Yes! In my cultures, dreams are seen as really significant messages from our ancestors or the universe. It’s fascinating! They can be interpreted as omens or signs, guiding us toward our destiny or helping us make sense of our life path.
6. Do you like hearing other people’s dreams?
→ Honestly, I’m not a fan of listening to others talk about their dreams. They often don’t make much sense and I often feel like they’re just rambling.
→ I actually enjoy it! It’s fascinating to hear the wild and imaginative stories that come from their minds.
7. Do you share your dreams with others?
→ I don’t usually talk about my dreams with anyone. They often feel too personal or silly, so I prefer to keep them to myself.
→ I don’t find it necessary to discuss my dreams. They often don’t make much sense, and I doubt others would care to listen.
